World Below The Sea

This is not about some kind of new country found below water or how the world will be after the global meltdown it is about a completely different world that is still a mystery to us till today and contains more living organisms within than all of them that has ever lived on land. We think the world is huge invariably we only mean the land in which we live, but two thirds of the world is only covered with water or to precise the ocean think how extremely large it is in size. The diversity of organisms that live in it is so breath taking that scientists are still puzzling over which species to put in which genre even with their super computers, and to think of it we only know about 10% of them. The ocean is extremely large and unbelievably deep too, at some points in the Pacific ocean it can get as deep as 11 km below surface.

It is also hopelessly dark out there even the rays of the sun cannot pass through the density of oceans, so don’t expect brightly colored cute things out there, just expect really huge dark colored horrible predators. We almost know nothing about the ocean below a depth of a 1000 meters, because that’s how far you can submerge yourself and observe something usefully, pressure underwater can really mount up to unbelievable value, when your just some 200 meters down you will feel like some kind of stuffed hamburger in a machine vice, think about the pressure at a 11000 m , it will be almost like placing two mount Everest’s above our head, even the strongest metals cant survive at such depths actually even SONARs get reflected back before they can reach the bottom, but unbelievably a flat fish is known to live at the ocean floor, and that’s just one amusement for you, the oceans also contain the largest mountain chain in the world, it is actually so continuous that no one knows where it ends and also the tallest peaks and the hugest volcanoes lie underneath. But when you just look at it from beach at sunset it just looks like a calm baby trying to sleep but always remember that is where we came from and soon it will be coming back to take us back again.
